'The Bachelorette': Week 10
The Bachelorette aired its special, titled "The Men Tell All," on Monday. Past male contestants of the season came on the show to be interviewed by host Chris Harrison.
Chris took Jillian, the show's "bachelorette," back to the first night of meeting the bachelors. Some topics discussed included Tanner's foot fetish, to which Jillian replied, "I don't care." As far as David's disrespect toward Jillian, she said, "All I want is for somebody to treat me with dignity and class."
Wes, who turned out to be the most controversial man ever on the show, was exactly what Jillian had been looking for, she said. Then, upon finding out that he was with her for the wrong reasons, she said, "Definitely Wes did not come here looking for love. . . . I think he did have somebody on the side."
Viewers got the chance to see some never-before-seen footage of the show, such as a not-exactly-sober conversation between Jillian and Ed in Vancouver, Jillian's snowball fight with Mike and Mark, and a hula dance in Hawaii performed by Jillian and Reid.
The latest "Bachelor" couple, Molly and Jason, went on the show to discuss one of the most talked-about moments in the history of "The Bachelor," when Jason dumped Melissa for Molly after the finale. After dating for about six months, Jason said things couldn't have been better between Molly and him.
Then, several of the rejected bachelors of this season talked about their experience on the show. (Wes and Reid were too busy to appear.) Some examples of what the guys think of each other: "Robbie always has the first beer," Michael said, referring to the men drinking at the house; "I honestly think Wes is the guy [Jillian] has to worry about," Tanner P. said; "I have zero respect for Juan," David said; and, as always, the guys believe Jake was too perfect for Jillian.
David and Jake took turns sitting in the "hot seat" and being interviewed by Chris. While David apologized for his behavior toward Jillian, Jake defended his actions when he told her that Wes has a girlfriend. Audience members also got to ask Jake questions; for example, would he consider being the next "Bachelor"? "It would truly be an honor," he responded.
After viewers watched a musical tribute to Wes, Jillian arrived to face the "ex-boyfriends." Michael assured Jillian that he's recovered from his broken heart, while Juan agreed with Tanner P. that her feet are "hot." Then the audience witnessed never-before-seen funny moments that occurred throughout the show.
"I'm extremely happy. . . . I can't recall a time when I've been this happy," Jillian said, referring to the man she chose. We will see who she picked on next Monday's season finale of "The Bachelorette."
