'The Bachelorette': Week 9

Jillian spent time with the three remaining bachelors in Maui.

On Monday's "The Bachelorette," Jillian had romantic overnight dates in Maui with the final three bachelors.

The first date was spent with Kiptyn. Jillian challenged his insecurities by taking them through a ropes course. "He owned it," Jillian said.

They ended the course by facing their fears while standing on 8-inch wide totem poles and then jumping and catching trapezes.

"I believe Jillian and I, as a team, will be an incredible couple," Kiptyn said.

They ate dinner at Maui Sheraton Resort and Spa. After receiving an invitation to spend the night in the fantasy suite, Jillian decided to go for it, unlike last week when she passed on the offer. "I think I trust you the most than anybody that's left," she told Kiptyn.

Next, Jillian took Reid on his first helicopter ride. They took a tour of historic waterfalls and learned that the pilot is the only licensed minister in the state to marry couples in a helicopter. "Let's get it done," Jillian joked to Reid.

The couple picnicked on the beach and Reid expressed his worries that, although he's developing feelings for Jillian, everything is moving too fast for him. "I'm not the best at . . . voicing emotions," he also told her.

Last week, along with Kiptyn, Jillian also passed on the offer to spend the night in the fantasy suite with Reid. This week showed that, during dinner, Jillian changed her mind with Reid as well. They spent the night at the Westin Resort.

On the episode's last date, Ed and Jillian took a ride on a sailboat before he had a surprise for her: She finally got to meet his parents, which she was thrilled about. "When I first met Edward, I was pretty much smitten right away," Jillian told them. "I love being around him."

Ed's dad became teary when he told Jillian he had never seen Ed put his heart on his sleeve before.

"My dad has a tough time with me being here and putting my job on the line," Ed said later. "[But] I swear that I would get engaged if she picked me. . . . I don't take marriage lightly."

When given the invitation, Jillian accepted the offer with Ed for the second time. They spent the night in the fantasy suite at the Sheraton. "I've absolutely fallen in love with you," Ed told Jillian.

However, that night, things didn't go the way they had planned. The "I-want-my-hands-all-over-you" feeling, as Jillian called it, wasn't there, she said. She blamed a great deal of pressure and the desire to just fall asleep.

Jillian's standing with the final three men are as follows: She feels Kiptyn has put a wall up and worries he may be just a pretty face; Reid has not yet told her that he will be willing to make sacrifices to have their relationship be successful; she's wondering if she and Ed will run into a similar situation like the night before.

Before the rose ceremony, Jillian watched the three bachelors give her their messages in a video. Ed was the only one to tell her "I love you" in the video.

At the rose ceremony, after making a difficult decision, Jillian said a deeply sad goodbye to Reid, who blamed himself for not having opened up to her sooner. Ed and Kiptyn will vie for heart during the finale, which will air in two weeks.

Next Monday, past memorable male contestants of this season will be interviewed on a special episode of "The Bachelorette," titled "The Men Tell All."
