Backstreet Boy Howie Becoming a Dad
Looks like the Backstreet Boys tour bus will hear the sound of baby feet instead of pop music beats.
E! reports that member Howie Dorough and his wife, Leigh, are expecting their first child, due in June.
"I know she's going to be a great mother," he told People magazine. "If she can take care of me, the biggest baby in the entire world, I think she's going to be okay with the little one coming along."
The couple got married in December 2007, and are not going to find out the sex of the baby until he or she comes into the world.
"We're just hoping for a healthy baby," Dorough said.
He isn't the only one in the boy band who has taken on the role of dad. Brian Littrell has a son, Baylee. Dorough admits that the Boys were "surprised but very, very enthusiastic" about him becoming a father.
The Backstreet Boys, down to four members after Kevin Richardson decided to leave the group, are currently working in Los Angeles on a new record. They will also be touring next month in South America.
They had better equip the bus with baby monitors for future tours!
