Backstreet Boys and New Kids Are Teaming Up to Tour

By ,
The two iconic 90s boy bands are getting ready to hit the road together.

Boy band fans have just hit the jackpot. Ryan Seacrest confirmed today that 90s teen pop powerhouses Backstreet Boys and New Kids On The Block will be touring together. The tour, aptly titled “NKOTBSB,” will be starting in the summer of 2011.

Rumors of the two bands touring together have been circulating since the Backstreet Boys surprised fans at a New Kids On The Block concert at Radio City Music Hall back in June. Now, Entertainment Weekly reports that the boys will perform together again on the American Music Awards show later this month.

It appears that both groups will boast their complete original line-ups for the tour and prior joint show as well - something that not many 90s bands can say today. The tour is already generating some buzz, Entertainment Gather reports. Ryan Seacrest will be having both the bands on his show next Monday. The band’s AMA performance will be broadcast Nov. 21 on ABC.
