Bacon Robbed--"Hollow Man" Not So Invisible on Subway

Footloose actor's cellphone stolen early Thursday.

According to TMZ.com, actor Kevin Bacon had his phone stolen in a New York subway station. Bacon was walking in the station around 10:45 Thursday morning, with his phone in hand, when a man ran up and snagged his BlackBerry.

The Hollow Man chased after the thief through the subway but was unable to catch up, reports Right TV.

According to UPI, 37 percent of robberies in the N.Y. subway system, reported in 2008, were cell phone robberies. What makes Bacon's BlackBerry different than any other phone is his list of celebrity contacts and possible confidential information.

The Footloose star was traveling with his band, Bacon's spokesperson said, according to Right TV.

This isn't the first time Bacon has had to deal with theft. In March, he was a victim to a $65 billion scam run by Bernie Madoff.
