Batman Rumors Circulating

How about Eddie Murphy? The veteran comedian who has starred in countless films over the past few decades has been rumored to have been chosen to fill the role of Batman villain "the Riddler" for the upcoming third Batman movie: this reported by the Sun newspaper despite other rumors that suggest Johnny Depp to fit the part.

Other reports suggest that Shia LaBeouf, the young actor who was seen in Transformers, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and Disturbia, will become Christian Bale's faithful sidekick, Robin.

A few other rumors that are circulating offer that Rachel Weisz will be playing Catwoman, and Philip Seymour Hoffman will fill the role of the Penguin.

The high-quality, Golden Globe nominated performace of Heath Ledger as the joker shows how dramatically the success of a film can be influenced by choosing the right actor for the part. For Gotham City fans' sake, hopefully the next Christopher Nolan-directed Batman flick can live up to its high expections.
