Beatles Are Digitally Re-Mastered

The original Beatles catalog has been digitally re-mastered for release on September 9.

The famous four who revolutionized rock music are now entering the digital era. The release of the catalog will come out along with The Beatles: Rock Band video game, according to Reuters.

The catalog is comprised of 12 Beatles albums, with track listings and artwork, as they were released in Britain originally.

"This will mark the first time that the first four Beatles albums will be available in stereo in their entirety on compact disk," said a statement issued by Apple Corps, Ltd.

The catalog is not going to be available online yet, but according to the statement, there is still discussion on digital distribution of the sound.

The Beatles are arguably the world's most successful pop band (selling more than 600 million albums worldwide). Ironically though, their music is not available right now on Apple Inc.'s iTunes. The settlement of a trademark dispute, though, between Apple Inc. and Apple Corps, Ltd., is finally allowing this to happen.
