The Beatles: Rock Band Reveals All But One Song

The Beatles: Rock Band announces 19 more songs for the games collection.

Beatles fans can rejoice, MTV Games and Harmonix has released 19 more songs to be featured on "The Beatles: Rock Band." That brings the total to 44 out of the 45 songs players will be able to experience, out on Sept. 9. The final song has yet to be announced. The songs span though all parts of the Beatles' career and include "I Saw Her Standing There," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "Helter Skelter," and "Come Together." "The Beatles: Rock Band" will be available to play on Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The game allows players to experience a virtual band by providing up to four players with the ability to play three music instruments, lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums. The "Beatles" deluxe bundle will make available imitations of the Beatles' original guitars and drums as well as three microphones (singers) so players can mimic the Beatles' three-part harmonies.

The video game industry could use this boost after a fifth straight month of declines in July. Anticipated games also slated for release are "Madden NFL 10," "Halo 3: ODST" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2."
