The Beautiful Life Canceled after Two Episodes
The Ashton Kutcher produced drama is the first causality of the fall season.
Before several new fall shows even premier, The CW network's "The Beautiful Life: TBL" has become the first show canceled this season.
The drama about glamorous young models in New York starred Mischa Barton and Sara Paxton, and was executive produced by Ashton Kutcher. Only two episodes were aired.
The program premiered Sept. 16 to only 1.5 million viewers. The second week only netted around 1 million viewers, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Until a replacement can be found, encore episodes of "Melrose Place" will fill the hole in the Wednesday 9 p.m. timeslot, one night after they originally air.
