Beckinsale May Return to 'Underworld'

Kate Beckinsale took a break from her husband's film franchise for the prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, but it looks as though she may return for the fourth film some time soon.

Her husband, Len Wiseman, will apparently be back on board as the director after having served as the producer on the prequel, but Beckinsale seems less interested and more obligated to appear. Her appearance may be very brief as she's looking to have the character pass the torch to someone else, if she even makes an appearance. Makes you wonder what the situation at home is like between the unwilling actress and director.

In other Underworld news, the fourth film will be getting the increasingly popular 3D treatment. What's more surprising is that, unlike its earth-bound predecessors, this one may be set in space! That'll likely give them plenty of excuses to have zero-G gun and fist fights. Take that, The Matrix!
