Benji Madden Excited About Being an Uncle Again

Twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden do just about everything together – even performing in the same band – but for now, Benji and Joel have completely separate lives as Joel prepares for baby number two with girlfriend Nicole Richie.

Benji spoke with People magazine about his brother's upcoming bundle of joy, just two weeks after hearing the news about the newest Madden addition. The younger brother says he's ready to play uncle again – just as long as he doesn't have to be the dad.

The Good Charlotte star said that he'd heard the news before the public, giving him time to get used to having another niece or nephew. "You have to wait before you can tell people," he said at the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational. "I found out a little bit earlier. We're twin brothers so we share everything."

Benji is counting on brother Joel to have the kids for now, saying that he hopes his brother has a big family. "They're the best parents I've ever seen," he said.

"The family vibe in our band is really strong right now and we're all really enjoying that," he says. "I'm the last single guy in the band so I get to dive into the music a little more, which I love. My life is great right now. It's wonderful," he added.

Although Benji's not ready to settle down and have kids just yet, he does admit that he's got plans for a family in the future. "I'm great with kids and I absolutely want kids when the time is right and I have the right partner," he says. "I'll bring them on tour. They'll be little rock 'n' roll kids."
