Benji Madden Proposes to Girlfriend

While Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden saw the end of his relationship with Hilary Duff last month, his twin brother Benji will soon hear wedding bells after proposing to his girlfriend on Christmas Eve.

Madden, the band's guitarist, popped the question in girlfriend Sophia Monk's native Australia.

"They are extremely happy," representative Steve Feinberg told E! News.

Monk, who was a member of the singing group Bardot, recently appeared on the big screen in Click and Date Movie.

"I love (Benji's) girlfriend," Joel said last year in an interview with People. "She's so cool. I hang out with her, we have a great time. She's really similar to me - she's very care-free."

Good Charlotte will release its fourth album, Good Morning Revival, this March.
