Nicki Minaj is one of the most adored female rappers today for her outlandish style, vivacious personality, ridiculous vocals, and oh right, her booty. However, this booty has a little too much exposure in her latest music video. Black Entertainment Television (BET) recently banned the artist’s video for her new single “Stupid H*e” and will not be airing it on the entertainment network.
When speaking with TMZ, a rep for BET would not disclose the real reason behind their decision to not broadcast Minaj’s video. However, sources confided in TMZ that the music video is too explicit for the network.
“Stupid H*e” features MInaj in a barely there thong along with skimpily dressed female dancers. The newly released video is also filled with provocative dance moves and not so clean lyrics.
Despite the controversy with BET, Minaj still has something to smile about. According to MTV, the promo of “Stupid H*e” uploaded on Vevo got a record breaking 4.8 million views within the first 24 hours on the site.
“Stupid H*e” is Minaj’s first single off of her second album, Pink Friday: Roman Relaoded. The racy song can be downloaded now but the Young Money rapper’s sophomore LP will not hit stores until April.
