In Rihanna's new "Man Down" video, which premiered Tuesday on BET, the star murders a sexual attacker that follows her out of a club. Due to the graphic nature of the video, the Parents Television Council said the video is setting a bad example, and are urging the TV network to take the video off the air.

But the network refuses to do such a thing. And, BET actually went as far as to include the video in its Top 10 Countdown today. According to TMZ, BET told the press that each video aired on the network has to pass a set of guidelines, and Rihanna's video has passed. Therefore, they will keep airing the video.

Many fans and viewers also are wondering if the video or song has anything to do with the abusive relationship the starlet had with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown. But no solid connection has been made, and Rihanna, 23, tells fans that this is just her way of expressing her art.

And although there were some critics, Rihanna urged fans to keep their cool. She wrote on Twitter, "Guys please stop making threats #NotCool!!! We love it, they don't...that is all, and the world keeps turning!"
