Bethenny Frankel Taking New ABC Show "Seriously"

Bethenny Frankel is one of the latest housewives from the infamous “Real Housewives” franchise to make headlines. The New Yorker starred in Real Housewives of New York and recently got her own spin off show Bethenny Getting Married?, which also air on Bravo. But now she’s taking on a new challenge on ABC’s Skating With The Stars and her fellow housewives know she’s serious about it.

Housewife Alex McCord told Pop Eater, “Knowing Bethenny, she's in it to win it. Bethenny wouldn't have agreed to do it if she didn't think she could win." A source close to the New York mom says that she’s determined to take her reality show fame as far as she can go:

“This show means the world to her, it's always been Bethenny's dream to be on a network in prime time and out of cable. This is her chance to leave 'Real Housewives' and 'The Apprentice' behind. She's super smart and talented and wants to move to the next level of show business. Look at Elisabeth Hasselbeck, she went from Survivor to hosting The View and she isn't half as talented or driven as Bethenny."
