Beyonce and Jay-Z Getting Hitched?

It won't be long now until we might be hearing those wedding bells ring for the first couple of hip hop. According to People magazine Beyonce Knowles and the singer's partner of six years, Jay-Z, have allegedly taken out a marriage license.

People.com specifies the facts stating that the couple took out the marriage license in Scarsdale, N.Y., on Tuesday morning, after which the document is valid for 60 days.

Previous rumors encountered about the two finally setting the date have been denied again and again, according to eFluxMedia.com. The denial continues as one of Beyonce's representatives tells People.com, "No comment," while Jay-Z's spokesperson is nowhere to be reached.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been known for keeping their private lives just that, private. Ever since they started dating they've pretty much kept their relationship to themselves.

Back in 2006, there were rumors going around about the couple getting hitched in the Caribbean; gossip that their representatives quickly dismissed.

That same year Beyonce told InStyle magazine that "You can't rush a man into anything - whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children. When he's ready, he'll let you know."

Last September, however, when asked about plans to marry, Jay-Z replied, "One day soon - let's leave it at that."

Both are multi-platinum selling musicians, Grammy Award recipients and savvy pioneers in their own right. It's like a match made in heaven.
