Beyonce didn't give first post-birth interview to English tabloid

Details of baby Blue Ivy Carter’s birth won’t be released any time soon.

E! Online reported that rumors that Beyonce spoke with British gossip magazine Star about the birth of her child and gave the magazine her first post-birth interview are completely false.

The “Run the World (Girls)” singer’s rep told Access Hollywood that the interview is “completely made up” and that there isn’t a drop of legitimacy behind that rumor.

However, when the entertainment news show spoke with an editor for Star magazine on Tuesday, the publication insisted it did conduct a valid interview with the singer.

“It is not made up or fictitious at all. We bought the interview from a reporter in the U.S. who conducted the interview with Beyonce before the birth. The reporter then obtained the ‘top-up’ info after the birth, which we believe to have been signed off by a girl on her LSM team,” the unnamed editor said.

The magazine went on ahead and published the article with the headline on the online version reading, “Beyonce WORLD EXCLUSIVE first interview” with a tag that reads, “Beyonce reveals to Star how she felt after giving birth to Blue Ivy.”

If the past is a good indicator of the future, Beyonce and Jay-Z definitely didn’t agree to an interview as they’ve been extremely private about their personal life from the beginning of their relationship.
