Beyonce Gears Up for New Album
R&B singer Beyonce will release her third solo album on November 18, her Columbia Records label said on Monday, according to Reuters.
The still untitled album is a follow-up to her 2006 album, B'Day, which hit No. 1 on the U.S. pop chart in September 2006. Her first album apart from Destiny's Child, Dangerously in Love, released in 2003, also went to No. 1.
According to Reuters, Columbia said the new album was Beyonce's "most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date," and that she co-wrote and co-produced all the songs.
Billboard.com reported that Justin Timberlake will also appear on the album, however, no other details about his contributions have been released.
Two tracks from the album, "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies," will be released on the radio on October 7, according to Billboard.com.
