Beyonce Scheduled to Sing at Obama's Inauguration

Beyonce will finally get her wish.

According to the Associated Press, singer Beyonce Knowles plans to serenade America's first couple, Barack and Michelle Obama, for their first dance on inauguration night at the Neighborhood Ball in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old will sing the classic Etta James song, "At Last." Knowles had played the legendary singer in the recent film Cadillac Records.

In a statement, Knowles said, "I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the first lady. To sing 'At Last' while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history."

Knowles and her husband, rapper Jay-Z, were Obama supporters and went out to campaign for him during the election.
