There’s no question Beyonce is one of the hardest-working stars on the planet. In fact, a vacation for her is so rare that there’s a documentary about the short hiatus she had while working on 4. And now it seems the new mom doesn’t even believe in maternity leaves.

The Los Angeles Times reported the “Best Thing I Never Had” singer is working on two major projects this year, one of which is an album.

"The conversations about her next album literally just started and there [are] two projects happening," Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic frontman and Beyonce’s “Halo” and “I Was Here” co-writer, told The Boom Box.

While he didn’t give any more details about the projects, he did say that the 30-year-old wants to write songs about motherhood and isn’t necessarily looking to follow any music trends.

"She's not interested in 2012, she's interested in what's [going to sound good for] 2013,” he said.

According to Rolling Stone, Beyonce gave birth to her daughter with Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter, last month, but has already started working on the projects.

"All I can say is, you kind of feed her the best that you have and she's this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in," Tedder said, who has been working with other producers on raw material for the singer.

The magazine also reported that one of Beyonce’s projects is most likely a song for Clint Eastwood’s A Star is Born, which features her as the female lead.
