Beyonce's Sells $3 Million in Perfume - In One Month

The pop star's perfume has heat.

Beyonce has proven that that everything she touches turns to gold. Or maybe, the better word is MILLIONS. After just one month on the shelves, the pop megastar’s perfume, Heat, has earned $3 million in sales. In comparison, the average celebrity fragrance earned roughly $2.5 million over the entire year, according to New York Daily News.

Heat is Beyonce’s first fragrance, although she helped to promote a few others including Armani’s Diamonds for Women and Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star.

The scent, which is sold exclusively at Macy’s, is the department store’s number one brand, and sold 72,000 bottles in one hour when the starlet made an in-store appearance.

The perfume is sold for $39 to $59, and is a blend of magnolia, blush peach and neroli.

This was my first fragrance,” Beyonce told WWD, “and I wanted to make sure that it was something I would love forever.”
With those kind of numbers, another fragrance that she’ll love forever probably isn’t too far away.
