'The Biggest Loser' Recap: "Eat Your Heart Out"

Stephanie DeLuca
Episode 1106

As Valentine’s Day is approaching, the contestants are faced with a tasty challenge: They’re trapped in a room filled with chocolate candies. Whoever eats the most chocolates is given the option of trading two players from their team to the opposing team. However, there is a twist: The winner of the challenge will not be revealed.

The teams were definitely divided at the challenge. Some stayed focused and dedicated to their weight-loss, whereas others wanted to eat as much candy as possible to have the authority to change the course of the game.

It was determined at the end of the game that two of the strongest members of the Black Team, Jay and Jen, went to the Red Team and the two weakest links, Sarah and Deni, were sent from the Red Team to the Black Team.

Like all secrets, they always come out eventually. Arthur from the Black Team, who ate 35 candies, confessed to getting rid of the two strongest players for his own selfish reasons. Tensions run high in the house since the majority or the house wanted to keep the teams the way they were.

At the second challenge, the contestants endured several physical tasks. The winner of this challenge will receive videos from home. The Red and Black Teams need to work together to get through the obstacle course. The first two players of each team were tested on their endurance. One player had to push a rock up a hill blindfolded while being guided by the other teammate.

After that, the next two players were tested on their speed, as they stacked bricks six feet high. The next two players were tested on their knowledge of calories, placing the respected items on a podium from the lowest calorie dishes to the highest. The next two members needed to walk across a telephone pole while holding one end of a log.

The last member standing had to shoot an arrow through a heart. In the last part of the challenge, the team must piece the puzzle together. The Black and Red Teams were both neck-and-neck at the beginning, but two players from the Red Team got stuck at the calorie challenge. In the end, the Black Team wins the videos from home.

At this week's weigh-in, Jay and Jen proved to the Black Team they're still a threat, losing 14 pounds each. Q only manages to lose seven pounds after pleading to stay in last weeks' episode. The Red Team collectively lost a whopping 97 pounds. However, it was not enough to beat the Black Team. With Q's lack of ambition, he was sent home.
