The Biggest Loser Recap: The Unknowns are back

After four weeks of hard work, the Unknowns came back to the ranch to show how much weight they lost with the new trainers Cara Castronuova and Bret Hoebel. Since the beginning, the Unknowns had immunity and now this is where the competition really begins.

Bob and Jillian pushes the team to their limits due to the fact the Unknowns are about to be back. Everyone was working hard his week with the exception of Irene and Don from the Black Team. Unsurprisingly, the Black Team threw the weigh-in so that Don can go home since he wasn’t putting in any effort to try and change his life. With a 6 pound weight gain, Bob and Jillian were disappointed in the fact Don gave up so easily while there are thousands of other people across the country who want to be on the show. Without the usual hour deliberation, the players unanimously voted Don to be sent home.

The Yellow, Brown, Pink, Red and Gray Teams return to the ranch. Bret and Cara are nervous to be on the ranch because they have to meet Bob and Jillian's standards. For the first time the five teams get to use the Biggest Loser equipment. They're all working out more than ever before because this is the first week where one team will fall below the yellow line. The Unknowns also have their first challenge. Each player must put a weight on an opponents scale. Once the scale reaches 500 pounds, that team is out of the challenge. In the end, the Yellow Team wins the challenge.

The original constants who have been on the ranch since he beginning also had a challenge. In total last week the players lost 48 pounds. This weeks challenge, they all must lose more than 48 pounds. If the contestants manage to lose the weight, they will win immunity for the week. As a result, the players lost 63 pounds as a whole.

The original players came to the conclusion to not underestimate the Unknowns just yet. At this weeks weigh-in many of the players were pulling double digit numbers. Even though the Red Team lost a significant amount of weight, Q and Larialmy end up below the yellow line. The Red Team makes their plea to send Larialmy home because Q still needs to stay on the ranch. The other members of the Unknowns grants their wishes and sends Larialmy home.
