Biggie's lawsuit keeps getting bigger
The family of deceased rapper Notorious B.I.G. is looking to expand their wrongful-death lawsuit against Los Angeles.
The Wallace family's request was part of a 94-page motion citing a list of incidents, which they contend show a pattern linking police to crimes involving rappers, including Tupac Shakur.
The attorneys for the Wallaces allege that a private attorney defending the city, said in court this month that Officer Rafael Perez was in uniform and involved in Biggie's 1997 shooting.
The still-unsolved killing has fueled conspiracy theories, but most have centered around the police. Last summer, US District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper declared a mistrial, saying a police detective had hidden statements by an informent linking the killing to Perez and former officer David Mack.
