Bill Murry Confirms His Part in 'Ghostbusters 3'

While Sigourney Weaver was touring to promote "Avatar," some people asked her about the upcoming "Ghostbusters 3" film, and she let some plot spoilers get away from her. Not that any of this information would be kept secret in the trailers anyway, but still important stuff. It must be pointed out that this information may spoil your enjoyment of the film in some way, so read on at your own discretion.

According to an in depth feature with the actor, written in Mailonsunday.com, Murray confirmed Weaver's previous statements, saying that the plot will revolve around her ghostbusting son Oscar, and that Bill Murray's character, Peter Venkman, will be a ghost.

"I said to them, 'I'll do it if you kill me off in the first reel,'" he said in the Mail On Sunday interview. "So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film."

According to Imdb.com, the cast remains relatively unchanged from the first two. Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis are all confirmed for the film. Scary Movie persona Anna Faris and Buffy The Vampire Slayer's Eliza Dushku are listed as rumored. They still have yet to announce who will be playing Weaver's son, Oscar, in the film.
