Binoche Joins French Rally
Juliette Binoche joined rally in Paris demanding the freedom of captured American journalist Jill Carroll.
Famed actress Juliette Binoche joined a rally in Paris for the release of an American reporter being held captive in Iraq this week. The French beauty joined angry protestors at the Place du Trocadero, which is right in front of the Eiffel Tower, to show her support in having Jill Carroll returned home safely. The journalist was abducted in Iraq on January 7. Her captors are demanding that all female Iraqi prisoners be released. Binoche, 41, declared, "We're here to be with her [Carroll] and to help her in a spiritual way. I think our presence here is a way to sustain the possibility of freedom."
