The Black Eyes Peas put on a rockin’ concert full of 'Boom Boom Pow' for 60,000 New Yorkers
Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas live on stage during CHASE Presents The Black Eyed Peas and Friends 'Concert 4 NYC' benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation at Central Park, Great Lawn on September 30, 2011 in New York City.

The Black Eyed Peas joined Chase Bank and the Robin Hood Foundation to host a concert to help fight poverty in New York City.

The free outdoor show was cancelled in June due to bad weather, but a little rain couldn’t stop the show from going in Central Park on September 30. Concertgoers donated money through text messages, and the cause garnered a total of $4 million, reports Billboard.

The Peas had a lot of time to party, as special guests for the cancelled June show like Taylor Swift, LL Cool J, and Carole King were not on the bill this time around. They started off with a few of their recent hits, some medleys of their old music, and covered some songs. The group even played a song from pre-Fergie times, while she prepared to sing some of her solo hits, says Rolling Stone.

After Will.i.am thanked donators and shared the amount of money they raised, the Black Eyed Peas performed their final song, as well as an encore. “Where is the Love” prompted a sing-along with the crowd, celebrating what the night was all about.
