They dropped out 'due to unavoidable circumstances'
Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas live on stage during CHASE Presents The Black Eyed Peas and Friends 'Concert 4 NYC' benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation at Central Park, Great Lawn on September 30, 2011 in New York City.

The tribute concert for the late Michael Jackson is set for this weekend in Cardiff, Wales, and one of the biggest draws in the line-up has announced they are no longer taking part in the concert.

The Black Eyed Peas have announced they are withdrawing from the Michael Forever tribute concert through Chris Hunt, head of Global Live Events.

"Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Black Eyed Peas will be unable to perform at this Saturday's Michael Forever event," said Hunt, Reuters reports.

Hunt continues “but I look forward to a great night with other earth shattering artists.”

Artists still on the bill are Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Gladys Knight and Smokey Robinson, as well as Jackson’s siblings La Toya and some of his brothers.

The Press Association reports that Jamie Foxx will co-host the event with Fearne Cotton.
