The Black Eyed Peas are still two…er four…peas in a pod, they’re just taking a break.

Band member Apl.de.ap told Reuters at the band’s "The Black Eyed Peas Experience” video game launch party Monday that the band is just “going to take a little vacation and focus on our personal things.”

Apl.de.ap, whose real name is Allan Lindo, Jr., will spend his “vacation” time serving as an ambassador for education in the Philippines.

And NBC News reported Will.i.am told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview that will air Wednesday, that the Black Eyed Peas "always have two cycles of records and then we take a break."

"When we take breaks you know, we work on side projects and get our personal stuff in order to then come back and make beautiful music," he added.

Will.i.am, Fergie, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo will all take their final bows before the break at a Miami concert on Wednesday, at which Marc Anthony, Cee Lo Green, Flo Rida, Sean Kingston and Jason Derulo are also scheduled to perform.

But earlier this week, the band was together promoting their new Xbox game.

"I want them to get the excitement of actually having the Black Eyed Peas in their own living room," Taboo said about the video dance game.

Fergie added that she hopes “it's a good way for people to work out while having fun,” especially with all the “childhood obesity” in the country.

Well, if the game helps us get Fergie abs, it’s going to be a huge hit.
