Blessings Come in Small Ways

Yesterday evening my daughter had asked for my antique bookcase. As much as I hated to part with it, this is my daughter. I took it and the books she had on it to her last night.

It was worth it. Her stepchildren were excited to see her children's books she had grown up on. They don't have any books at their Mom's and have struggled with reading in school. So right away I had to read two books to Kassandra. Tj grabbed one of the books on a movie, Homeward Bound, and said I'm keeping this one as I can read it. Also he was excited about another book that Sarah had read growing up he could read.It excited me so to see them get excited over books I had purchased.

I had a whole set of Alice in the Bibleland books and Kassandra put them on her shelf. She really enjoyed having one read to her.

Even my daughter's boyfriend got excited over books he could read to his children. He reads to them but had hardly any books.

So I was truly blessed last night.
