It is the first film with one lead actress to breach $200 million at the box office.

James Cameron's beast of a movie, “Avatar,” isn't the only film breaking records this season. “The Blind Side” has become the first movie to surpass $200 million with only one top-billed female star. So far, it has raked in a total of $208.5 million.

The news can only add to Bullock's success with the film, as it has already gotten her two Golden Globe nominations.

"And we're not even done," said Dan Fellman, Warner Brothers president of domestic distribution. "I think Blind Side has another $30 million left."

“The Blind Side” is a drama sports film written and directed by John Lee Hancock. It was only second to “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” its opening weekend, November 20.
