Blue October and Switchfoot head out for new tour
Rock bands Blue October and Switchfoot have teamed up for a co-headlining summer tour to promote their new albums. The "Crazy Makin Summer Tour," kicks off on July 26 in Council Bluffs, Ia. and continues till the end of August. Ours and Longwave, will be opening acts for them throughout the tour.
Blue October is promoting their most recent album, "Approaching Normal," which was released last March. The band's fifth studio album peaked on The Billboard 200 at No. 13. Their most recent single is "Say It." Their single "Hate Me" hit No. 2 on The US Modern Rock chart.
Switchfoot is finishing up their seventh studio album, "Hello Hurricane," which will be released later this year. The band is continuing their previous tour and is also supporting The Dave Matthews Band during the summer.
