Bond Is Back!

James Bond returns in "Quantum of Solace."

The 23rd film in the James Bond series hits the big screen in Britain on October 31, and in the U.S. on November 14. EFlux Media reports that several reviews have come out already, raving that the film explodes with action, and that Bond star Daniel Craig did most of the stunts himself.

Craig's selection as the world's greatest secret agent was questioned originally, but his performance in Casino Royale put all the concerns to rest. The film was one of the most successful in the franchise, and catapulted Craig to international stardom. Craig even got a nomination for a BAFTA Award as best actor. BAFTAs are the British Oscars, and no Bond before him had achieved that honor.

As is always the case with Bond films, shooting took place around the world. The film picks up where Casino Royale left off and, if the early reviews are any indication, may be the most pulse pounding Bond film yet.
