Bono and Alicia Keys to Collaborate on Song

The pair plans to donate all proceeds to charity.

Bono and Alicia Keys have announced plans to collaborate on a song called "Don't Give Up (Africa)." The proceeds will be donated the charity Keep a Child Alive which provides families in need with the necessary medicines for AIDS and HIV treatment.

Bono has been among the most vocal activists of fighting the problem of AIDS in Africa, which many see as one of the most important causes of our generation. Keys has been a spokesperson for American charities such as "Frum tha ground up", a betterment program for youths which equips them with "tools essential to achieving success on all levels." Keys says that she admires Bono's work in Africa and believes that everyone should be focused on helping fight the epidemic.

The song "Don't Give Up (Africa)" will be available exclusively on iTunes starting Tuesday.
