From the creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, The Book of Mormon follows the adventures of two young Mormon missionaries on their journey to spread their gospel in Africa. They however, continually find themselves being hit with reality, explains the Huffington Post.

The Book of Mormon opened on March 24, 2011 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in New York and received critical acclaim.

Topping the Broadway box office charts last week, The Book of Mormon came in second behind the widely well-known powerhouse, Wicked. Mormon raked in $1.485 million, with Wicked coming in slightly ahead with $1.509 million.

The production has also received a Grammy for best musical theatre album.
