The Boss Is Back in Town

Bruce Springsteen reunites with The E Street Band.

The Boss is back with his New Jersey mates, The E Street Band. The reunited group will release their new album, The Magic, on October 2.

This is their first album since 2002's Grammy-Award winning The Rising. Columbia Records announced that Bruce Springsteen and his bandmates are launching a United States and European tour to accompany the album. The first performance will be on October 2 in Hartford, Connecticut and will be headlining 30 shows ending on December 19. The tour will stop in the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, France and Britain, said Columbia.

Springsteen is heading home to New Jersey, where he scheduled many shows bordering his home state, including an October 5 date in Philadelphia, October 9-10 shows in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and October 17-18 appearances at New York's Madison Square Garden. The E Street band includes Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons, Danny Federici, Nils Lofgren, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Max Weinberg, and Steven Van Zandt.
