Boyle's Got Talent

Scottish singing sensation will perform in British TV talent show's finale.

Susan Boyle, the 48-year-old whose impressive pipes have stunned listeners around the world with her performances on the reality TV show, Britain's Got Talent, will sing in the program's final episode on Saturday, May 30, according to ABC News.

Boyle overcame detractors' doubts about her frumpy performance early in the competition with her soaring vocals, reports USA Today. Her popularity has also been boosted by a massive following online, including a viral video of her debut performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables on Britain's Got Talent which, according to USA Today, is the fastest growing video sensation in the half-decade history of Web videos.

During the Britain's Got Talent semi-final show, May 24, Boyle received the highest number of votes in a viewer phone poll after she performed a rendition of "Memory" from the Broadway play, Cats, reports ABC News.

According to "The Swamp," the Washington bureau of the Chicago Tribune, Boyle will be performing in Saturday's finale against other talented Brits for a cash prize of 100,000 pounds.
