Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Purchase New Vacation Home

Featuring 15 bedrooms, a home cinema, and 2 pools in northeastern Italy.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly bought a $40 million villa in Valpolicella, Italy, according to Sky Italy Magazine.

While the hot Hollywood couple looked at cheaper villas ranging around $10 million, they decided to splurge and buy the 18,000 square foot home, according to NY Daily News.

“They wanted something more exclusive and in record time to spend the summer vacation in Italy,” said Property Consultant Alexander Proto.

The vacation home, located in northeastern Italy, features 15 bedrooms, two swimming pools, a home cinema, and several jacuzzis.

The couple, known for traveling around the world along with their six children, spent the last few months in Italy while Jolie filmed The Tourist, an upcoming drama-thriller film also starring Johnny Depp to be released in April 2011.

The family had been spotted in Venice earlier this summer, located quite close to their new vacation home.

Brangelina also reportedly own two other homes besides this latest purchase - a $3.5 million mansion in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a home in Los Angeles, California.
