Brad Pitt Hates Being Famous

Although he's one of the world's most-loved actors, Brad Pitt is tired of being famous. The star was more than willing to let the world know about his fame problems in an article in Newsweek, according to the Daily News.

Pitt seemed especially unhappy with having to promote his films, saying, "This publicity machine is out of control. It's everything we didn't sign up for. There's this whole other entity that you get sucked into. You have to go and sell your wares."

Despite his dislike for the pressure of fame, Pitt has willingly allowed photos of Angelina Jolie and their children in numerous magazines, even selling the first photos of his children to the press.

Along with those pictures, it seems Pitt does play the fame game after all, according to Frank Navarre, founder of photography agency X-17. Navarre told the Daily News that Pitt sees fame as "not a game - it's war. Everything he does is calculated. . . . Brad Pitt is somebody who's obsessed with it."
