Bradford to Have Season-Ending Surgery, Will Enter Draft
Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford will have season-ending surgery and enter the NFL draft.
Oklahoma Sooners quarterback and 2008 Heisman trophy winner Sam Bradford has announced he has elected to have season-ending shoulder surgery and will enter the NFL draft in April, reports the Associated Press. Bradford injured his right shoulder, his throwing shoulder, in the first game of the season in a loss against BYU.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the announcement came in a press release Sunday by Oklahoma University. Bradford will undergo surgery on Wednesday in Birmingham, Ala. by famed surgeon Dr. James Andrews.
