Brady Injures Shoulder, Status Remains Unknown
According to the Chicago Tribune, Tom Brady's surgically repaired knee is fine after last night's game against the Washington Redskins, though no details have been released regarding the status of the shoulder injury he sustained in the game.
Near the end of the first half, Brady was tackled by Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and had to leave the game due to injury.
Brady performed well in the game with two touchdown passes to Randy Moss, but perhaps the surprise of the night was the steady play of Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell, reports the Associated Press. Campbell connected on 13 of 22 passes for 209 yards and completed three successful scoring drives.
The Boston Globe has confirmed that Patriots coach Bill Belichick held a news conference earlier today, but did not reveal any details regarding the status of Brady's shoulder injury.
