Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have ended their tour of Vietnam.
The couple spent a week in the country, which is the native home of their son Maddox. This is his first visit to the country since he was adopted by Pitt and Jolie in 2007.
Pitt had departed Vietnam Monday to attend the premiere of his film Moneyball in Seoul.
Jolie reportedly allowed paparazzi to get shots of her at the airport. This contrasts with her usual tactics which involve her hurrying to her destination while ignoring photographers.
Jolie and two of her children bid farewell to airport staff after her younger children and their luggage were put on the plane.
"Con Dao is very beautiful," she said "My kids like the island very much. We hope to return here in the future."
During their stay, the family toured different areas of the country, including Con Dao Prison. Pitt and Jolie also viewed the Con Son ‘tiger cages’ at the Con Dau Islands. The cages were built by the French to incarcerate political prisoners. During the Vietnam War, they were used to house communists. The area is now a tourist attraction.
It is unclear if they are returning to the U.S. or meeting up with Pitt.
