Brangelina Purchases Italian Villa

Power couple and their six kids have a new vaction home

Following in the footsteps of George Clooney, Hollywood’s hottest couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, are now buying a $40 million villa in Italy.

Set in the hills of Valpolicella, the power couple originally looked at a few cheaper villas (around $10 million) but then decided on the picturesque luxury home.

"They wanted something more exclusive and in record time to spend the summer vacation in Italy," says Property Consultant Alexander Proto. According to nydailynews.com, Proto spoke with the couple and signed the deal earlier this week.

The vacation home is located in the north east of the country, it features 15 bedrooms, a home cinema, a gym, two swimming pools and jacuzzis. The home is reported to be 18,000 square feet.

Jolie, Pitt and their six kids have spent the last few months in Italy while Jolie has been filming The Tourist. The whole family has been seen this summer in Venice, which is not too far from their vacation home.

Along with their recent purchase, the couple already has two homes. One is a 19th century mansion in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The other is an extravagant house in Los Angeles.
