Brazilian heartthrob to join "Lost" cast

The "Brazilian Tom Cruise" will be joining the cast of "Lost," though it was unknown if he is joining the cast full-time or as a reoccurring character.

Rodrigo Santoro, known for his roles in "Love Actually" and "Charlie Angeles: Full Throttle," is known as the "Brazilian Tom Cruise" for his good looks.

Even though show producers said he was joining the cast they were quiet on details of his role.

"We don't really want to be at all specific about what we're doing with the character or what he's going to play," "Lost" producer Carlton Cuse told TVGuide.com. "Part of the surprise and the enjoyment of watching the show is sort of getting a chance to meet a new character and see how his role is going to unfold in relation to the rest of the cast."
