Break-In at Home of SJP's Surrogate
Having twins has been a bumpy road for Sarah Jessica Parker, husband Matthew Broderick and the surrogate mother carrying the twins. Two police officers from towns in Ohio, near where the surrogate lives, are under investigation for allegedly breaking into the woman's home and attempting to steal voicemails left by Parker in order to sell the information found, according to the New York Daily News. It is uncertain at this point if the burglars actually stole anything from the home in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
According to the Money Times, the surrogate mother is no longer staying in the home where the incident took place because of other, similar break-ins. People reported that Parker is worried about the health of her twins and the surrogate mother, because there can be a lot of stress associated with constantly being in front of the media.
Broderick's publicist commented, according to People, "Matthew and Sarah Jessica have complete faith in the legal system. But because it's a criminal investigation, we will not be making any more comment. What I can say is the entire family looks forward to the healthy delivery of their daughters later on this summer." The twins are due mid-July, according to the Money Times.
