Bret Michaels Loves His Little Girls
No matter how many women try to win Bret Michaels’ affection, his heart will always belong to two special females. Who are the lucky ladies? It’s his daughters Raine, 9, and Jorja, 4. Michaels, 47, fathered the children with his former longtime girlfriend Kristi Gibson.
“I may not be there every day of their life, but I call them three [or] four times a day,” Michaels tells People magazine.
Learning to negotiate with two young girls has taught him valuable skills for his gig on Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice. Despite the reality gigs and rocking a solo tour, Michaels returns to his children in Arizona whenever he can, People reports.
Michaels tells the mag his relationship with Gibson is “a work in progress” but the duo parent fine together. In fact, Gibson is the one who decided on the unique names for the girls, Michaels says.
And the girls love their Dad’s rock n’ roll style. Raine does duets with Michaels who’s “like a big kid,” she tells People.
The littlest tyke, Jorja, already admires him. She tells People her Dad is her hero.
