Bret Michaels is Not Suing!
It was a terrible accident at the Tony Awards on June 7th. Bret Michael was performing on the award show, when he was hit by a descending piece of stage decoration causing minor injuries.
Michael's injuries consist of a fractured nose and split lip, however he in not suing. There will be no legal action taken placed at all. Michael was the talk of the telecast but still feels that it isn't necessary to file for a lawsuit. He states to PEOPLE, "I want to make very clear to everybody thatfirst and foremostI was honored to be asked to be at the Tonys. I'd never done it before and in all my life it's not something I thought I'd be on. I was really excited" and he is moving forward from the incident.
After the interview, Michael said that he is taking the high road.
