They didn't have the fashion police at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday night, but if they did, San Francisco Giants closer Brian Wilson would have been the number one target.

The eccentric pitcher took to the red carpet in Los Angeles wearing a one-piece, spandex tuxedo and an orange bow tie. His accessories included white gloves, a cane, red socks and black sneakers.

"It's not a wrestling singlet like people think. I call it a onesie," said the 29-year-old. "If I wasn't going to wear this outfit, I would be wearing Saran Wrap. But I know how ESPN wants things PG-13."

WIlson, who was an integral part in the San Francisco Giants Word Series championship last fall, is well-known for his unmistakable black beard. Wilson's facial hair provided plenty of jokes for ESPY host and Saturday Night Live cast-member, Seth Meyers.

"Some pitchers have goatees, Brian Wilson has an entire goat. It looks like your beard is wearing a fake beard," Meyers joked. "I've been meaning to ask, did you ever get that fiddler off the roof? But I'm sorry to tease you, Brian, it's obivous you hate attention."
