Actress Brigitte Nielsen was hospitalized Thursday following a car accident.
The accident occurred in the Hollywood Hills when a woman in a Toyota Matrix rear-ended a Porshe Cayenne Nielsen was a passenger in. The Porshe then hit the car in front of it.
Nielsen, 48, was unable to move, according to her spokesperson, and was transported to a nearby hospital. She was treated for a bump to the head as well as injuries to her neck and back and soreness in her lower body. She was released after X-rays and a CAT scan.
"Everything is fine," said the rep. "Brigitte has a big bump on her forehead and is resting at home. She is sore and in shock."
The driver of the Toyota was reportedly intoxicated and had an 11-year-old boy in the car. She was subsequently arrested.
Nielsen is known for her 1985-1987 marriage to Sylvester Stallone, whom she worked with in Rocky IV (1985). She also claimed to have had relationships with rapper Flavor Flav, New York Jets player Mark Gastineau and her Red Sonja (1985) co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger while he was married to Maria Shriver.
In 2008, she admitted herself to rehab for alcohol abuse on the reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
