Bristol Palin Finds a Way to Make Money

Palin joins speaker circuit

Bristol Palin recently revealed the hardships of being a single mom financially, but has figured out a way to earn some extra cash.

Palin, 19, mentioned that her family was supportive, but she works a job five days a week to support herself financially. According to People, the daughter of former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin, has joined a speaking circuit from which she will earn $15,000-$30,000 per speech.

Palin works all day and then spends time with her baby, Tripp, but is tired from her job and lack of sleep. The circuit will provide extra funds that can go towards Tripp and her college education.

16 months ago, after giving birth to son, Palin became an advocate for teen-abstinence. The teen mother's pregnancy stirred up national attention around the issue, and brought awareness to the difficulty of being a single, teenage mom.

The young mom has become a Teen Ambassador for the Candie's Foundation, and discusses abstinence and pregnancy prevention to other teens. Palin is very vocal about her opinion on the subject, and through her own personal experience, can relate with others going through a similar situation.
